++ Continue to lift up those on the coast of Ecuador where the flooding and rain continues. Pray for Pastor Saul Vera whose home was flooded and for many others living in difficult situations. (OMS Prayer)

Ecuador Prayer Digest - March 18, 2008
++ PRAISE THE LORD - Everything got cleared up at the Dutch Embassy for the medical team member whose passport had expired. She was able to return to Canada with the rest of the team.

++ WED - One of the members of the Yantzaza medical team needs a new passport before she returns home through the US. (Hers expired while in Ecuador) Monday she met with the Dutch Embassy to get a temporary passport. Tuesday she had an appointment with the US embassy to get a visa so that she can travel through the US with her temporary passport and then home to Canada. Please pray for a miracle that all goes well with the US embassy and that they grant her grace and she be given the required US visa immediately. Her team returns home March 12th

It is Saturday evening and Elena and I (Kim) are in Greenwood, IN awaiting our flight in the morning to join Guido and Isabel at Camp Pallatanga. We are packed (suitcases are overflowing) and anxious to have our family back together.

Ecuador Prayer Digest - March 4, 2008
++ Pray for the churches and people living on the coastal plains of Ecuador while they are experiencing the worst flooding in many years. Many of the houses are on stilts, but water is chest-high, and several people have died. There is also the danger of diseases like malaria and dengue fever because of the standing water. Hello, pray-ers,
Please pray for us tonight and tomorrow … things are quite topsy turvy! Pastor Jaime’s father just passed away today. He lived in Cuenca, so Jaime’s family is leaving early tomorrow to Cuenca (and the roads are terrible with all the flooding). He’s asked Pablo to preach in his place, and Pablo is also directing worship.
