Sep 19 Pazmino

The Pazmino FamilyHello, dear friends,

A few things to pray and praise for …

We praise God for the sale of our house! We finalized the deal on Wednesday, and the funds cleared this morning … so there’s no turning back! That is one of the big items that has kept us busy these past few days.

We also praise God for the outreach ministry in Palobamba, which is picking up steam. Last Saturday the person who was to open the church building wasn’t there, so we met outside in the shade of a house. The children were actually more attentive than they usually are; I guess this was God’s way of showing us that none of this depends on our abilities or resources! This coming Saturday one of our church’s small groups will lead the children’s classes and evangelism in the community, under the guidance of Johanna Jaramillo (missionary recently returned from South Africa to do missions development in Ecuador).

This Sunday the 21st churches all around the country celebrate “The Day of the Bible.” (we actually are celebrating “The Month of the Bible” all during September since the Scriptures first came to Ecuador during the month of September about a century ago). In Guayaquil there will be a big march around noon on Sunday. Pray that this celebration will be a shining light in the midst of turbulent times politically.

-Please please pray for Ecuador’s future in the political arena. Next Sunday (the 28th) will be the vote of “YES” or “NO” for the new constitution.  Pray for God’s direction in each of his children as to the right vote, and for the nation to seek Him no matter what happens.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer!

Blessings,
Pablo and Rebecca Pazmiño
