From JON BARTHOLOMEW - Milagro
++ It is good to get over all the illness and start what God has for me to do here. I´m working with Pastor Carlos Peña in his church and going round with him visiting the various cell churches he has.
++ I´ve been working with the pastors kids -Roxana -16 and Jean Carlos -14. They lead worship in church and I’ve taught them a few songs. I will be teaching piano and about music and worship - pray for me.
++ One woman we’ve visited wants to make a commitment to God, but has a lot holding her back. Her husband has an alcohol problem and beats her. They have no money to send their kids to school. Pray for opportunities to talk to her.
++ Thank you all for your continued prayers and encouragement over these past few weeks. Pray against the culture shock that I´m facing here again. The devil tries to make little frustrations much bigger than they actually are.

From JENNY RIGGS - eXtreme Walk - San Carlos
++ I am having a lot of trouble with allergies (headaches, sneezing, congestion) but have been really busy, getting more involved with the ministry and feeling more at home.
++ A man that we are witnessing to is having surgery TUE 9/23. He has cancer and is praying to God and feels confident that with this surgery he will be better. Pray that he will be that sure of his salvation too.

++ Mariela and Absalom are coaching me as I disciple some new Christians. I talked to Cristina about obedience and to a couple that accepted Christ a month ago about personal devotions. I really enjoy learning how to disciple.
++ THU - Mariela, Absalom, and I visit patients at the San Carlos Hospital (it’s small). One day we met a lady who had started reading her Bible and she made a decision to follow Christ.
++ WED - A cell group has started to meet in the home of one of the Belen 2 leaders. New Christians and leaders make up the group, so pray that they can grow and teach each other.
++ SAT - I teach a music theory class (reading music and learning chords & scales). There are four eager students and several others to be invited.
++ Mariela has been teaching Bible Stories to kids in San Juan (a very poor community) and someone is teaching adults to read and write. I went with her Friday and we were swarmed with kids (the adults gathered to listen too).
++ God has given me many experiences and opportunities that He is using here to reach out to others. Pray for me as I try to be obedient to His leading.
