++ FRI SAT - Pray for The Association of Evangelical Ecuadorian Churches (AIEE) as they celebrate their 30th Anniversary. Pray for a wonderful time of celebration for all God has done to build His church and for revival.
++ Pray for happy attitudes and excellence as MKs work on their school and homework assignments. (Missions to the Max Sept Prayer Poster)
++ Pray that every Missionary Kid (MK) will love Jesus more every day and be a good witness. (Missions to the Max Sept Prayer Poster)

From JERRY & CLARA MATTOCKS - Ecuador
++ Pray for Jerry & Clara as they attend the AIEE 30th Anniversary Celebration then visit churches, pastors and missionaries in Guayaquil, Loja and Quito. Pray for safety and stamina, as they will be on the go OCT 8-23
++ This is our schedule (subject to change)
++ Guayaquil - OCT 9 - We meet with eXtreme Walkers Jenny Riggs & Jon Bartholomew. - OCT 10-11 The AIEE 30th Anniversary celebration - OCT 12 Pablo Pazmino’s ordination. OCT 13 either we take a L-O-N-G bus ride or a flight to Loja via Quito
++ In Loja we plan to visit AIEE churches, Missionary school and the HOPE radio station with Mark Vogan, then fly to Quito OCT 17.
++ In Quito we visit house churches, prayer walk at the “Presidential Palace” (Govt buildings & square) and worship Oct 19 in Riobamba WED Oct 22 we meet with ECC Coordinator Fabian Cortez and several ECC workers.
++ We head home THU Oct 23. Thank you for your prayers as we GO.

#1 Praying for the NORTH COASTAL DISTRICT
========
++ The Churches of the North Coastal District are located in Los Rios Province, Western Pichincha Province and Northern Manabi Province.
++ Los Rios Province is home to many large banana plantations. The prosperity of the residents (and the churches they attend) relies heavily on agriculture. Pray for good crops after last years’ flooding that will help the recovery efforts.
++ Pray for the pastors and members of the North Coastal churches as they travel to and attend the AIEE 30th Anniversary Celebration in Guayaquil - an investment of time and money.

#2 Praying for the SOUTH COASTAL DISTRICT
========
++ TUE - Pray for the Bible study with leaders of the church in Pallatanga. Pray for Guido as he leads, and that they might grasp the depth of God’s love for them and for their church and for their community.
++ WED - Pray for the cell group that meets in the home of one of the Belen 2 leaders in Milagro. New Christians and leaders make up the group, so pray that they can grow and teach each other.
++ THU-SUN - Randy Coleman is in Delton, Michigan, for a Mission Conference. Ask for safe travels and for anointed ministry. Give thanks with us for this church that has been such a long-term partner.
++ FRI-SAT - Asbury College, OMS cabinet retreat - Rachel Coleman & Beth Dupree (Japan) will cook and lead devotions. Ask that the Lord would meet the student leadership team in a special way.
++ SAT - Jenny Riggs in Milagro teaches a music theory class (reading music and learning chords & scales). There are four eager students and several others to be invited.
++ OCT 17-19 (FRI-SUN) - Camp Pallatanga MAY host an Ecuadorian camp/retreat of 80 people from all over Ecuador. (dates have not been confirmed yet) Pray that they may experience God’s peace despite all our projects in progress!
++ Rachel Coleman’s right leg is encased in a compression boot, to stabilize an inflamed and “split” tendon in her ankle (softball injury). Pray for quick healing, patience, and stamina as she faces a full schedule..
++ Pray for Jonathan Bartholomew and Jennifer Riggs eXtreme Walkers in Ecuador as they learns Spanish. (Missions to the Max Oct Prayer Poster)
++ Continue to pray for the local Ecuadorians working on the Camp Project, that they might be drawn closer to God through their participation and by the witness of the visiting teams.

CAMP PALLATANGA WORK TEAM - OCT 4-18
++ Pray for the team from Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio working on the new administrator’s house at Camp Pallatanga. Pray for safety and smooth interactions as they labor along side Ecuadorians.

CAMP PALLATANGA WORK TEAM - OCT 20-30
++ Pray for the nine members of the work team from the Aley UMC in Beavercreek, Ohio as they make preparations to fly to Guayaquil Oct 20 then on to Camp. Pray for peace as they pack, and safety as they travel.
++ The team will be working on the Los Fieles Cabin, one of three at Camp Pallatanga. Pray for efficiency and for a growth in teamwork as they engage in painting, landscaping and hanging curtains.

#3 Praying for the CENTRAL DISTRICT
========
++ WED - Kelly Chambers attends a Bible study at the prison. Entering the prison is entering the enemy’s territory, so pray specifically as she begins this ministry.
++ One aspect Kelly Chamber’s ministry to women in prison is the Greeting Card Workshop. A group of seven women (more have expressed an interest) make cards to sell. Pray for Kelly as she looks for marketing outlets.
++ THU - Pray for the Sucre house church meeting led by Rafael (Pastor from Galpón) Most of the members are poor farmers and many are indigenous but the church is rich in their love of the Lord.
++ OCT 13-17 will be Spiritual Emphasis Week (SEW) at Alliance Academy in Quito. Pray for the team that will come to minister, so that God’s Name might be glorified.
++ Jonathan Tankersley, a seventh grader, needs the Lord to give him a good attitude toward his studies and living in Quito. Pray that he will make some close friendships with kids that will draw him closer to the Lord. (Teen Power)
++ Courtney Chambers was selected to be a guardian (mentoring junior high kids) and a peer helper (counseling peers through hard times). She is also tutoring a student and playing soccer. Pray for her busy schedule. (Teen Power)
++ Lift up Courtney Chambers and David Tankersley who attend High School at Alliance Academy in Quito. Ask the Lord for Safety, as they are both key players on the school soccer teams. Also pray that they will show the Love of Christ while competing with other schools. (Teen Power)

#4 Praying for the SOUTHERN DISTRICT
========
++ MON - Pray for the twice monthly leadership meeting held in Saraguro. This is an important time for planning and prayer and also maintaining communication and relationships.
++ WED - Pray for the house church meeting in Cuenca. Pray for the recently baptized members - that they might grow in their faith and knowledge and become aggressive witnesses to the Power of God in their lives.
++ Remember Ruth Angamarca and her program directed toward the youth called Youth World. (Saraguro Prayer Guide - Good Shepherd Radio)
++ Remember the Douce’s ministries to the women, to the youth and through home group meetings. (Saraguro Prayer Guide - Saraguro)
++ Pray for a young man working with Ruth Angamarca on the Youth World program on Good Shepherd Radio in Saraguro. Ask God to touch his heart so he will want to be a true believer in the Lord Jesus. (Teen Power)
++ Four teens recently accepted the Lord as their Savior at a retreat with Patricio Orellana in Cuenca. Pray that they will become true disciples, and grow in their faith. (Teen Power)

#5 Praying for the ORIENTE DISTRICT
========
++ Mark & Anne Pavelka work in the South Island, New Zealand to mobilize short term mission trips in the Philippines and initiate OMS Prayer Groups. Pray for their children, Ariana, Joshua and Melissa. (OCT Prayer & Praise)
++ Pray that the FM frequency will be functioning into the Amazon area, so that the believers there will also be able to listen and grow in faith by hearing Christian radio. (Saraguro Prayer Guide - Good Shepherd Radio)
