From RANDY & RACHEL COLEMAN - Wilmore, KY
++ Thank you for your prayers over the past three weeks. We’re glad to report better health.  Turns out the unconquerable infections were the result of a “journeying” kidney stone. It got a lot worse before it got better - it’s over now.
++ FNL speakers. Tom & Susan Stiles and BJ & Andi Williamson gave the students a glimpse of opportunities in Ecuador, and were able to talk personally with some of the seven students who are committed to participating in the spring break trip to Cuenca.
++ Last week was Great Commission Congress at the college.  Our OMS music team led worship for three of the services and we closed the week at OMS with a student-led prayer vigil after FNL, a sweet time of intercession for the campus and for the nations.
++ SUN - Randy will be preaching at Wilmore UMC.  Pray for him this week as he prepares the message God has laid on his heart.
++. NOV 18 will be the first organizational meeting for the Ecuador Spring Break Team.  Pray for Randy and Becca as they make plans and prepare the students. Ask God to begin to prepare prayer and financial partners for all the participants.
++ Please pray for Rachel’s writing assignments and deadlines. Two weeks of illness put her behind.  Please pray as she prepares the Tuesday Bible studies in Genesis 1-11 and works on articles that need to be written in the next 10 days.

++ Pray that God will give Steve and Katuska new preaching appointments, where they could also spread the word about SEMBEC, as this first term finishes and the enrolment for the second term starts.
++ Please pray for the leaders of OANSA, the children’s club at church.  Many of them have been working in both OANSA and as Sunday school teachers and need a break.  Pray that others from church will come to join them.
++ Give thanks to God that we finally (almost after one year of arriving in Ecuador) have got broadband.  This should help us to be more in touch with family and co-workers from all over the globe.  We are very grateful to God for it.

JERRY & CLARA - TRIP REPORT - In Saraguro
++ Our one day journey to Saraguro included lunch with Dr Bill & Ilene Douce.  It was a treat to visit with them, and we even picked some strawberries from his garden plot for shortcake.
++ We toured Good Shepherd Radio station and saw the newly installed and operational computerized programming equipment.  Transcription of their music library to digital format is in progress.
++ Equipment and installation plans are in place for the installation of a new wind generator and transmitter on the Ventanaurcu site so the signal into the Amazon region can be restored.  (waiting for good weather)
++ When transmission is reestablished to the Amazon region, GSR plans to distribute the solar powered fixed-tuned radios they have on hand.  Pray that God might use this effort to bring many into the kingdom.
++ The Douces continue to see patients at the Clinic and demonstrate God’s Love to all who come, through medical care, and Christian witness.  Pray for continued good health and strength for this dedicated couple.
++ Several attempts have been made to utilize the Carboncilla site to provide income and support for the GSR ministry.  Pray for the latest project meant to provide an income stream through cooperative farming.
++ Pray for Miguel Guaman, Pastor of Light and Truth Church.  He supports his family with his shoemaking trade, and has a vision for establishing a much-needed Alcohol Rehab facility.
++ We visited a session of the embroidery classes being conducted at the L&T church.  A dozen ladies were busily engaged in embroidery work using treadle powered sewing machines.  Pray for this potential income opportunity.
++ The Good Shepherd Church still does not have a Pastor.  Dedicated lay people are carrying on the ministry, but are praying for a Pastor to provide leadership.  Pray with them.
++ Thank you for your prayers as we went, and thank you for your continued commitment to the cause of Christ in Ecuador through your personal ministry of prayer!
++ Let us know if you’d like to have us visit you in your home, Sunday school or other meeting to share in more detail and answer questions.  We love to share about ECUADOR.  Look for reports of our visit over the next several weeks.

++ As we search for Ecuadorians to serve on the Coffee Shop advisory committee, pray that we can find people who are committed to serving God and who have the expertise we need for these positions.
++ Pray for our paid employees and volunteers, that we all would show grace to one another. Pray for the other missionaries who are working in this ministry - Carolynn, Jamie, Candace and Helene.
(Mark & Nube Vogan are in Loja, working with SIM - Waves of Hope Radio..  The “Coffee House” ministry is part of the SIM outreach to young people.  We visited the Coffee House on the square in Loja and it is a delightful place where young people can gather to socialize and interact with Christian staff and volunteers - Jerry & Clara)
