Pray for Mick and Nora Suman, beginning their two months of ministry in the KEHC Missionary Training Center. Pray for God’s blessing on the Sumans’ relationships with these Korean missionary candidates and other Korean missionaries on furlough or preparing to leave for the mission field.
Pray for Seoul Theological University students who are going on departmental retreats from April 2–4 to have good fellowship and sharing times together as they get to know one another better.
Uplift Bill Oden in Korea from April 6–9. Pray that he will have good meetings with church and seminary leaders and missionaries during his visit.
1. Praise the Lord for the arrival of Mick and Nora Suman in Korea on March 23. After a few days of orientation, they will move into the KEHC Missionary Training Center where they will spend a couple of months in close relationship with the 17 families in training there, helping them with English, and sharing about life on the mission field. Pray for God’s blessing on the Sumans’ relationships with these Korean missionary candidates and other Korean missionaries on furlough or preparing to leave for the mission field.
2. The seniors in the Mission English department at Seoul Theological University will lead the monthly English chapel on March 27. Pray for God to be glorified through the whole worship service, and through Professor Sungwon Kim as he gives the message.
We are beginning to prepare for the “Adventures in English” program to be held in July. Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom so that this English camp will glorify God and challenge those who attend to grow in their faith and participate in missions.
Seoul Theological University celebrates its 98th Founders’ Day on March 13. Pray for God’s direction and wisdom as the school prepares plans and projects for its 100th anniversary in 2011, so that STU can continue to be used by God to raise up Christian workers for Korea and the world.
Pray for new and returning students and faculty at Seoul Theological University to have a good start to the 2009 school year, which began on March 2.
Pray for the seventeen families in the Missionary Training Center, beginning their seven months of intensive training before leaving for various mission fields. Pray for a good start to their training this month and for them to be well-prepared for their future ministries around the world.
