On May 25-29, Dr. Mary Conklin from Point Loma Nazarene University will be giving her annual lectures on cross-cultural adjustment at the Missionary Training Center. Pray for these lectures to be helpful for the missionary candidates as they prepare to serve in other cultures.
**UPDATE: Mary was delayed, and is planning to arrive in Korea the evening of May 26. Pray that her lectures, although cut in half, will be effective and helpful for the missionary candidates.
Pray for Mick and Nora Suman as they finish up their two months of ministry in the Missionary Training Center, and prepare to return to the United States on May 29. Pray also for Tom Sparrow who will arrive in Korea on May 27 and serve in the Missionary Training Center for the coming month.
The Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC) general conference will be held May 26-28. Pray for God’s direction as leaders of the denomination are elected and important decisions are made about the future of the KEHC.
All of South Korea is in shock from the suicide of former president Roh Moo-hyun on May 23. Pray that God will draw people to Himself through this, and heal this land.
