October 28 - November 3 prayer requests

Dr. Chris Bounds is giving the annual Cowman Lectures at Seoul Theological University on October 29 and 30. Pray for God to speak through him to challenge those who listen.

Pray for safe travel for David and Lori Long, Randy Spacht, Bill Oden, and John-Mark Brabon, visiting Korea from November 2–4. They will be there for the annual partnership meetings between OMS and the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC). Pray for God to bless the discussions about how to partner more effectively for God’s kingdom around the world.

October 21-27 prayer requests

Dr. Chris Bounds will be in Korea October 24-30 to give the annual Cowman lectures at Seoul Theological University, as well as to lecture and preach at other schools and churches. Pray for God to use his ministry to challenge all who listen in new ways with regard to Wesleyan-holiness teaching.

October 14-20 prayer requests

Pray for Dr. Chris Bounds, preparing to give the annual Cowman Lectures at Seoul Theological University the last week of October. Pray that God will use these lectures to challenge students, professors and church leaders in new ways.

Pray for the Church Multiplication Strategy Committee (CMSC) as it has its dedication service on October 23 and selects trainers for church multiplication.

October 7-13 prayer requests

Pray for the 35 Korean missionary candidates who will be commissioned on October 9 and are preparing to leave for their various mission fields around the world.

Pray for the Church Multiplication Strategy Committee (CMSC), a new ministry of OMS Every Community for Christ and the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church Domestic Missions Committee to equip pastors of newly established churches to grow their congregations and plant daughter churches. The dedication service for the CMSC is on October 13, and trainers will be chosen, with training in November. Ask that God be glorified through this ministry.

September 30 - October 6 prayer requests

Most Koreans go to visit their hometowns, celebrate the harvest, and have ceremonies commemorating their ancestors during the Chusok holidays, October 2-4. Pray for Christians to be good witnesses to their non-Christian family members during these days.
