Praise the Lord for His guidance in preparations for “Adventures in English” this July. We have found a way to provide meals during the two-week program to train Korean young people in English for ministry and missions. Praise the Lord also for all the short-term missionaries planning to go to South Korea for three weeks to minister in this program and for the staff in Korea, making preparations. Continue to pray for God’s direction in all the planning and for many students to apply to attend.
On May 4, the board of trustees of Seoul Theological University (STU) elected Dr. Seok-Sung Yoo, a Christian ethics professor, as the next president of STU. He will take office on September 1. Pray for God to bless him, prepare him and use him to lead STU well.
In South Korea, May 5 is Children’s Day, and May 8 is Parents’ Day. As many churches have special events for the family this month, pray that people will hear and positively respond to the good news of the Gospel.
