Pray for God to be glorified in the annual concert of the Seoul Theological University church music department on November 17. They will perform Mendelssohn’s “Lobgesang” (or “Hymn of Praise”) Symphony.
Pray for Dr. Mary Conklin, sociology professor at Point Loma Nazarene University, as she comes to Korea speak at the Seoul Theological University social welfare symposium on November 14.
Pray for Sharon Heinrich from OMS headquarters visiting Korea November 13-17 to audit the financial records. Pray for safe travel and that everything will go smoothly.

Pray for Susan Truitt who had a hard fall on her face last week. She had no feeling on the right side from her upper lip to her
eye. The CT scan showed a couple of broken bones, and a trapped nerve leaving no feeling. She has surgery on November 15 to reconstruct her face and restore the nerve. Pray for a complete healing.
Pray for God to be glorified through the English Speech Contest at Seoul Theological University. The preliminary contest is November 2 and the final contest is November 16.
Pray for the students at Seoul Theological University to have a great time of recreation together as they celebrate the fall festival on October 27.
Continue to pray for the 19 Korean missionary candidates raising financial and prayer support, learning English, and continuing their preparations to leave for their mission fields in the next few months. Pray that they will each become effective missionaries in their respective countries.

Praise the Lord for a great time for the World Federation of Holiness Churches October 3-5 and the Cowman Lectures at Seoul Theological University October 6-7, with Ron Smith, J.B. Crouse, John-Mark Brabon, and Bill and Diana Vermillion visiting Korea from OMS. We can see God working in new ways to bring about positive changes and transformation of lives.

Bill and Diana Vermillion will be in Korea October 4-10 to take part in the World Federation of Holiness Churches, Seoul Theological University and Friends of All Nations. Continue to up hold the Vermillions for travel mercies and the necessary rest to meet their schedule. Next week they will go to India to teach in a seminary for a week.
Pray for Stephen Mairs working with the English floor in the men’s dormitory at Seoul Theological University. Pray that through various activities like leading English worship, Bible studies, and fellowship, these future pastors and leaders will not only improve their English but also be stretched cross-culturally and grow in their faith.
The World Federation of Holiness Churches with partner denominations from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, US-Korea, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Nepal, the Philippines, Mexico, Bangladesh, and OMS, will have its General Assembly and Laity Conference October 3-5 in Seoul. This federation began in 1967 and has continued to expand in the number of groups involved. Pray for a great spirit of partnership as the member delegates share together under the theme of “Crisis, Change, and Cooperation.” Pray for John-Mark Brabon, J.B. Crouse, Ron Smith, Bill Vermillion, and Susan Truitt participating from OMS, to have good contacts and communication with all those involved.
Dr. Ron Smith will be in Korea October 1-9 for the annual Cowman Lectures at Seoul Theological University and to speak and preach at other venues including the laity conference of the World Federation of Holiness Churches and two churches. Ask God to speak through him to challenge all those who hear. Pray for Dr. J.B. Crouse accompanying him on this trip.
Praise the Lord for the 19 missionary candidates being commissioned on September 30. Pray for them as they continue their English training and raise financial and prayer support to leave for their mission fields in the next few months. Praise the Lord for a good first week for Sharon Minutti staying at the Missionary Training Center helping these Korean missionary candidates with their English. Susan Truitt and Lisa Hwang will also go out once a week each to help those with a lower level of English. Pray that this
English training will help the missionaries to increase their skills and confidence in using English as they prepare to serve on their mission fields
Pray for students and faculty attending the revival meetings at Seoul Theological University September 21-23, to be challenged in their faith during these days. Pray for anointing on
the speakers and worship leaders, and that God’s Word will be proclaimed, leading to transformed lives.
Pray for Bob and Suzanne Warren visiting Korea September 21-27. Bob will lead a seminar in “Train and Multiply” for people involved in ministry to foreign workers in Korea from September 22-23; he will also preach in a couple of venues on the weekend. Pray for him to clearly express God’s heart every time he speaks and shares.
The Korea Evangelical Holiness Church is having a Pastor’s Evangelism Retreat September 26-28 with 1,000 KEHC pastors attending. Pray for this retreat to inspire and challenge these pastors to more effective evangelism.
