Since the early days of OMS and Charles Cowman, intensive evangelism through literature distribution and house-to-house visitation has been carried out by Every Community for Christ (ECC) teams in many countries. ECC teams started many of the churches of the KEHC. In addition, KEHC missionaries in several countries supervise ECC team ministries there, and two KEHC pastors are ECC shepherds over other areas of the world.
The former Korea ECC program was phased out on April 1, 2009. OMS and the KEHC signed an agreement on August 28, 2009, to begin a 3-year partnership called the Church Multiplication Strategy Committee (CMSC), with the mission of planting multiplying churches in Korea. The CMSC will employ 5 to 7 church multiplication trainers who will equip pastors of newly established churches to grow their congregations and plant daughter churches.
ECC is also working with FAN (Friends of All Nations), a migrant worker ministry in Korea; we hope to recruit eXtreme Walkers in 2010 to work with this ministry as well.
