Praise the Lord for the restful weeks over Christmas. Pray for renewed vision and strength as the work begins in earnest again this week.
Pray for students returning to seminary classes this week. Pray for strength for Leroy and Kay as they direct the activities and for Pati, their right hand woman.
Ask the Lord for continued guidance for a new location of the Santa Monica church.
Pray for a job for Jorge, new husband of Laura of the Izcalli team.
Pray for the followup of those who accepted the Lord during the Christmas festivities.
Pray for safe travel for Margaret who is to return from the States where she has been helping clean out her aunt’s house. Pray for the remaining work to be done there as she returns to the work in Mexico.
Praise God for the decisions made in the many activities during the Christmas celebrations. Pray for the followup on those decisions that will happen after the first of the year.
Pray for rest for the workers this week.
Pray for Ceasar in Esquadron that more lay people will become involved in the ministry.
Praise the Lord that the house church in Toluca is growing.
Continue to pray for the new location of the Santa Monica congregation. Pray for unity in the church. There are a number of people from other churches who have brought their doctrine with them. Pray for the Lord to pour out his spirit on this congregation.
Pray for those in the US preparing to come to Mexico. Pray for John-Mark and Susan and Robin funding in the US for their return. David and Jen, Troy and Jenny, Nick and Lisa are all candidates funding to come join the work.
Coming from the UK - Pray for Jonny and Julie preparing to return in the spring. Steve and Helen, Leslie and Brenda are UK candidates funding to join our team.
Pray for peace in the hearts of men and in Mexico in 2009!

The Santa Monica Church is preparing to move. Pray for all that involves and for as new location for the church. Pray for growth and unity of spirit in those attending.
Praise God for the fruit from the activities this weekend. Pray for the followup and that it will be lasting fruit.
ECC has announced a 26% cut in funds this coming year. Pray this will be a faith building experience for those involved and for God to supernaturally provide for this growing ministry.
Pray for REST for missionaries, pastors and ECC workers. There are many activities yet this week then things will slow down. Ask the Lord for spiritual, physical and emotional renewal during this down time.
What a joy to introduce you to La Raza team. Fidel, Andrew, Alex, Pati and Juana (not pictured) They are the newest ECC team.

Praise the Lord for the work that is nearing completion on the drop-in-centre. Pray that all the labor is done before January.
The La Raza church plant is scheduled to begin in January. Ask the Lord for much fruit, for wisdom and a good start. Pray for the raising up of the church and for good time management. They will be working in the centre in the morning and on the streets in the afternoon.
There are many who are interested in being involved in the work. Pray for wisdom for Fidel as he coordinates the volunteers and for the right people to come along side.
Pray for the community surrounding the drop-in-centre (now to be called UNIFAM La Raza). There are many people with many needs.
There is still no phone in the centre. Pray that will be installed quickly. Pray for continued provision of all necessary for this ministry.
Thank the Lord for the unity of the team. Ask the Lord to continue to unite hearts and minds.
Pray for Juana as she organizes the kitchen and gets that aspect of the ministry up and running.
Praise the Lord that Socoro’s feet are better. Pray for her aging parents as they are experiencing health issues. Pray for Avril undergoing some medical treatment.
Alan, recently transferred from Cofradia, is meeting with an AA group. Pray for wisdom and for the possible contacts.
Pray for new leaders as the team shares the vision of church multiplication with the Coacalco church.
There is an evangelistic outreach on the 18th and a couples dinner on the 20th. Pray for much fruit.
Pray for the house churches in San Carlos, Tecamac and Ecatapec. They need solid leadership.
We praise the Lord for a good report for Alfredo’s mother’s surgery. Continue to pray for complete healing.
Praise the Lord for those who have opened their homes. Pray for strength and dedication to keep those doors open.
Pray that the team will have favor with the people as they share the Gospel and that they will not lack the resources - human or otherwise to spread the word. Ask that the Lord will guide them to those ready to accept Him.
Pray for Maria’s son who was assaulted recently that the Lord would provide the money stolen. Ask, too, for her daughter Graciela who has wandered away from the Lord.
Raul has several students in his law class who are struggling with family problems. Pray that he will be able to minister to those students.
Pray for Olga and Manuel and for salvation for Salvador and Marlin. Ask for healing and salvation for Cristanto.
Pray for the last days in school for Alejandro’s family that they would get good grades and had a good testimony.
Praise the Lord for the renewed commitment of the host family for the Chamapa house church. There were 30+ people at a special celebration of the churches first anniversary. Pray for the follow-up of these visitors and for the continued growth of the church.
Praise the Lord for the two new open homes in areas where there are no churches. Pray for the house churches being established in Palo Solo and Molino.
Pray for Israel, Patricia and family. Ask the Lord for strength and spiritual renewal.
Pray for Carmen, ECC worker, who will most likely need surgery to remove her gallbladder. Pray for peace and healing. Pray, too, for her sister Abi’s wedding on December 13th.
Pray for fruit from the Christmas program. There are 20 children who are preparing a play for their parents, most of whom don’t know Jesus.
The team has had a booth at the local market for some weeks now, handing out Gospels and literature. Pray for fruit and new contacts from this endeavour.
House church hostesses Alma and Pati stand in need of encouragement. Pray for Pati’s job that she would have a set schedule so she can attend the needs of those coming to the house church.
Another houses church hostess, Ines, needs prayer for her health, for her mother Victoria’s health and for son Lionel’s salvation.
Continue to pray for Maria de Jesus and her family. They are showing much interest in learning more about the Gospel.
Pray for Kati who is a potential leader and for Ernestina who wants to be baptised.
Pray for unity and oneness of spirit for the team.
Pray for Pastor Alfredo’s mother as she is having surgery today for breast cancer. Ask the Lord to extend his healing touch and for peace for the family.
Pray for extra strength and wisdom as our pastors reach out to people this month. The Christmas season bring many opportunities for ministry.
Praise God for his hand of protection on Zoel’s mother. She lives in a remote area near the Guatemalan border and suffered a near fatal hemorrhage. Pray for continued healing, for peace for the family and rest for Zoel and his family as they just returned from caring for her.
Praise the Lord for the 15 house churches that have been planted in the Campanario area. Ask the Lord to encourage the “hijos de paz” en each church: Elia, Elena, Manuel, Lupita, Olivia, Miguel Angel, Eric, Lupita, and Heriberto.
One “hija de paz” has a job that is interfering with the house church schedule. Pray that her schedule will be set so the time of the church doesn’t need to be changed on a weekly basis.
Praise the Lord for two new names written in the Lamb’s book, Norma and Irma. Pray for their spiritual growth and for Irma’s healing.
Pray for the health needs of many of our believers: Olga - kidneys; Flor - Hepatitis C; Miguel Angel - paralysis; Lety - foot surgery. Ask the Great Physician for healing for these and for little Maria who is just one and has had six surgeries.
Pray for Alejandro, ECC worker and his family as they adjust to this new venture. Pray for wife, Susie, daughters Damaris and Marlin, and son, Enoch.
