Missionary Family
Our hearts are heavy as we uplift Robin MacKinnon and the family as they are in California ministering to her mother, Anita, who is dying of kidney cancer. Pray for physical and spiritual strength for Robin and for salvation for Anita. Robin is reading scripture to her mother every chance she gets. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to soften Anita’s heart to His word.
Praise God for the Mexi-Kids programs now going in several churches. Pray for the children touched by this program and for their families to be drawn to Jesus.
Ask the Great Physician to continue to care for Carol Agnew as she awaits the birth of their baby. Pray for Andrew and Tabitha as the await the arrival of their new family member due any day now.
Please pray for the plans for the next Marriage Encounter in May. The work starts this month choosing the team that will be working for this Encounter. Ask the Lord to guide Kay and Leroy Lindsey and the other leaders in their decisions.
Seminary students start their finals for the Fall semester. Pray for clarity as they study and write term papers. Pray for the new students enrolling for Spring Semester.
Pray for Gary Thompson’s last three months on here in Mexico. He has finished formal language and is working full-time with Proyecto MEFI. Ask the Lord to allow him to use the Spanish he has learned and that He will enable and use Gary, in whatever way, to share Christ’s love with the street kids. Pray also as he prepares to go back to the UK that the Lord will clearly show him where He wants him to be and that Gary will be sensitive to God’s leading.
Jonny and Julie Pollock started worked at the Tultitlan church on Jan 20. Pray they may be able to encourage the pastor, Jonathan Villanueva and also that the community will come to know Christ. Continue to pray for their language studies as they will be using their Spanish a lot more.
Pray for the faith promise Sunday at the Campanario church, January 27th. John Mark Brabon will be preaching. Ask the Lord to touch people hearts and wallets as we prepare to begin raising funds for the next phase of construction and ministry.
