Welcome

Welcome to the OMS Mexico Prayer blog where we will keep you updated with the latest happenings and needs of the field. We recognize the need for greater prayer coverage and that without it we are defenseless. We also know that with your commitment to pray we will have victory in what we do. Thanks for being part of our team!

You can click on the tabs above and see the ministries of OMS Mexico. The ministry links will be updated on a regular basis. We’re glad you’re here. Thank you for standing in the gap.

God bless you.

Emergency Request

We just received word that Naucalpan ECC team leader, Zoel Robeldo is in the hospital in ICU.  Pray for him and for his doctors as there is, as of this writing, no idea of why he is in pain.  Ask the Great Physician to extend his hand over Zoel and ask for comfort for his wife, Sandra, and their two small children, Zoel and Noami.

Naucalpan

Pray for the Naucalpan team of Zoel, Diana and Carmen as they work in western Mexico City. They work in a very dangerous area of the city. Ask for much fruit from their labors as they go into new areas to open house churches.

The team has been working in the neighborhood of Los Remedios. The area has been receptive to the team being there and handing out food and clothing but there has no one willing to open their home for a house church.

Pray for Espereranza and Olga leaders in the house churches in San Rafael Champa. Ask for more homes to open their doors and to be willing to be trained to be house church leaders. Ask too that those who have committed to be leaders will be faithful to their commitment

Social Ministries

We praise the Lord for the provision of materials to help with the renovation of the drop-in-centre.

Missionary Family

Pray for Steve Swigert from Ardmore Team.  He has been here in Mexico three times in this past year. Steve was admitted to the hospital with a blod clot in each lung. Fortunately this is a textbook case and treatment will be straightforward. PTL that his calf swelled up or we would probably still be treating him for the flu.

We praise God for the growth coming from Mexi-Kids at UNIFAM Escuadron.  There are new families coming to church as a result of this outreach!
