We praise the Lord that all the team in Mexico is healthy, nationals and missionaries. PRAY that they would stay that way. Ask the Lord for safety to all as they weather the swine flu crisis and for wisdom. Ask, too, that the Lord would use this to bring many to Him.

Pray for Troy and Jenny Gentry and their children, Tayler 9, Clayton 8, Tori 5 and Cody 3. They are preparing to come to Mexico and join us in church planting.
Pray for Tayler and Clayton as they finish their school years. Clayton’s been struggling with reading and math, so please pray that the Lord helps him overcome his struggles.
Troy is trying to line up meetings on weekends. Their goal is to have at least 3 meetings a month until they get to the point where they are funded enough to leave jobs and travel full time. Pray for safety as Troy travels.
Pray that the Lord will continue to work out all the details of when to go into full time funding & who to contact.
Ask that the Lord will, even now, begin to prepare the whole family for their new life in a new culture, country, and language.
Praise God for the amazing teaching on evangelism that all received at last week’s retreat. We looked at the why of evangelism and some practical advice about how to evangelize personally and to a community as a whole. Pray for teams as they look at how they are reaching out and their methods. Pray for more boldness and compassion for the lost. If we really do believe there is a hell then we need to believe people will go there if they do not trust in the Name of the Lord.
Pray for the children of our pastors and workers as they enter into the last months in the school year, a time full of intense testing and much pressure on the students. Ask the Lord for rest and peace and that they can have a clear testimony with their peers at school.
Praise the Lord for the five who made professions of faith this week. There was one on Monday and four on Friday. Pray for the team as they challenge these street kids to really go forward with the Lord and for the other regulars that attend the day program to trust more and more. On Friday the street kids watched the film “Facing the Giants”. Many were moved by the message. Pray they will apply it to their lives as they need to know that the giant of drug addiction can be overcome with the help of Jesus.
Pray for the La Raza team this week as they start to go to the community to assess needs and promote a talk on “Money Managing in an Economic Crisis” as a way of reaching out. The talk will be on Thursday.
We praise God for a clean bill of health for Robin E’s mom following some recent medical tests. Please pray for Robin as she continues to share her burden for Mexico and its people on HMA and seeks funding for her return.
Our Mexico missionary family is reduced in number with many funding to return or come for the first time. We are excitedly anticipating the demonstration of God’s provision in His perfect timing for Margaret, Robin, the Lakatos Family, the Reid Family, the Cosslett Family, the Sherwood Family and the Gentry Family.
We were glad to welcome Jonny and Julie back with baby Ben after almost a year of HMA in N. Ireland. Please pray for them as they settle back into life and ministry here.
The Christian and Robin have recently felt the Lord call them back to the US into a new sphere of ministry. Please pray for grace and peace for them as they say goodbyes and for energy and stamina as they work their way through the many practical issues associated with their move. Pray for the handover of the leadership of the field and for wisdom for those involved.
The Reid Family have asked for prayer for Leslie’s mother who recently lost her sight. Pray that she will be well supported by her family and will make wise decisions.
The Sherwoods have asked for prayer for wisdom as they minister to some unsaved neighbors who are passing through a difficult time with their daughter. Pray for their salvation and for spiritual, emotional and physical healing for their daughter.
This week the missionary family, the pastors, ECC workers and their families have our annual retreat. Pray for a move of God bringing fresh passion, vision, energy and unity for the year ahead. Pray too for safe travel for those attending.
We recently asked for prayer for Erick from one of our churches who was wrongly imprisioned for a crime he did not commit. He has been suffering in a juvenile detention centre and continues to need our prayers. His next hearing is April 27th. Please pray for a miracle on that day. Pray that the hearing would go well and that permission would be granted for him to be freed. Because of his age that could still be a couple of weeks after the hearing date.
We praise God for fantastic Easter services. Many new believers were baptized and there is an air of excitement and energy at this time of year across the churches. Praise God for what He is doing here and for the new members of our Christian family.

Praise the Lord for the house churches in the Campanario area. Pray that the Lord will continue to add to their number and that each person who attends or is part of the host family will be saved. (Many times the wife is the host and the husband is not, etc.)
Pray that the Lord would make open people’s hearts to the Gospel and take away their indifference and that He would give His people a heart for daily evangelism.
