Requests from the missionaries…

Thank the Lord that there is an awakening in the Santa Monica-Viveros Church. Members are reaching out to minister to other members and God is putting on their hearts a desire to evangelize the community. Pray for the church board as they organize the people to meet the needs of others.

We have survived the influenza. Praise God that He is using these circumstances to speak to hearts about their need for God. Several Christians have witnessed to being used by the Lord to speak to distraught people. God is faithfully working and answering prayers in Mexico.

Several of the church families have been hurt economically by the epidemic. As the government has commented, we have been facing an economic crisis and an increase in violence; and now this! Families are in much need as well as the churches who have rent to pay, etc. Please pray.

God is using the film “Fireproof” to minister to families and to reach those needing the Savior. Couples are being rescued and people are giving their hearts to the Lord. Thank you for praying. We have ordered materials to do follow-up groups with couples.

Another Marriage Encounter is scheduled for May 29-31. We are expecting 55 couples. We need God to speak to the couples and for them to allow Him to change their lives.

Please remember the continuation of Colleen’s English classes and for salvation of her students.

Pray for the Pollock’s resettlement back on the field especially with their little baby Ben. They are praising God that in all the changes and stresses over the last few weeks they have seen Him at work in their lives and ministries and are also enjoying renewing fellowship with their friends.

Danielle Bickerstaff (6 week short -termer) arrives this week. Pray that she will quickly settle into life in Mexico and that she personally will be blessed as she ministers to others here.

The Agnew family is currently in the UK and will return to the field at the end of May. They appreciate your prayers for rest and a safe journey back.

Continue to pray for our churches and house churches as they regroup following the upheaval of the ‘flu epidemic. Pray that people will return and that there would be continued growth as they resume ‘normal’ life. Pray for leaders as they minister to families affected by the crisis and that God would be glorified in the salvation of many precious souls.

God bless you as you pray.
