Prayer Requests

Cross-training has started and we have four couples attending. Pray that the children will remain settled and that their parents will be able to concentrate and digest all the useful information they are receiving.

Praise God for the fantastic graduation ceremony for the six students at SEMBIMEX. There was a great crowd to accompany them and we pray that these new graduates will do great things for God in their churches and beyond.

Please pray for the various Vacation Bible Schools over the summer. These tend to attract large numbers of kids and our prayer is that besides being impacted by the clubs themselves many kids and their families will find Christ and be incorporated into the churches.

Pray for the pastor of our UNIFAM churches. Intercede for unity, wisdom, grace and revival. Pray especially for those pastors who are also working with the ECC teams.

We are praising God for how He has been providing necessary funds for Margaret and Robin on HMA (Home Ministry Assignment). Pray that they will be able to return to Mexico in early August with their support accounts fully supported.

Cofradia/Izcalli

Praise the Lord for the first converts in Adolfo López Mateos. Pray for health and growth for Javier and Leticia. Pray for more fruit in that area.

Pray for the evangelism taking place in Beristain Puebla. The work started on April 25 with the Jesus film. There were 46 people who attended and 23 accepted the Lord. The work now is encourageing and training the ew believers and the house church leader.

Pray for the families who are faithful leaders serving in the new church in Puebla. Pray for good health and for their economic situation to be stable. Pray for the new families who are coming that they might have a personal encounter with the Savior. Pray, too for the outreach in this community.

Pray for the families involved in the church in Tenopalco. Ask for fruit from the visitation, for María Esther who is doing more and more evangelism. The house church leaders are Benito y Blanca.

Continue to pray for wisdom as we look for new areas where God would have us establish churches.

Pray for team member Jonathan and his family, wife Cleide, and children Samuel, Sarah and André. Ask the Lord to continue to give them wisdom as to how to have a Godly home. Pray too, that there will be enough funds to provide for the needs of the family.

Intercede for Salvador’s sons, Juan Daniel and José Esteban. Ask that they would be filled with the desire to always walk with God. Continue to pray for healing for Salvador’s kidneys.

Pray for Lariza and Angélica and their respective husbands. Both couples are struggling in their marriages. Both wives are believers.

Naucalpan

Pray for the Naucalpan team. Ask the Lord to encourage them as they minister in that difficult area.

Pray especially for Sandra, wife of Zoel. She has had conflicts with a neighbor and now they are in court trying to resolve the legal problems. The lady was aggressive toward Sandra. Zoel and Sandra have forgiven her but must go through with the legal battle and ask for prayer that this woman will come to know Jesus.

Campanario

We have many hurting and needy people. Thank you for standing with us in these days.

Ask the Lord to open more homes during these summer months. Pray for growth in the San Mateo house church. Pray that the Holy Spirit will help the new believers grow and stay strong in their faith. Pray for spiritual growth in the BONFIL #2 and Peñitas house church. Pray for the house churches that will be opening soon.

We praise the Lord for the safe return of Mary Luis to Mexico. Ask for smooth transition as she rejoins the ECC team.

Pray for Mary Cruz and their family during this dificult time. Her brother took his life and they are struggleing. She is a believer but her husband Antonio and the rest of her family are not. Pray the Lord will use this time to draw this family to him.

Pray for Maria, a new believer as she grows in the Lord. Pray that she will be lead to open her home to be a house church.

Ask the Lord to encourage Maria Jesus as she studies the Word. Pray for Graciela who accepted Jesus are her Savior. Ask her Lord to keep his hand on her as she is experiencing problems in her pregnancy.

Michell is in intensive care and the doctors are not sure what the cause is. Pray for God’s healing touch and for comfort and peace for her mom, Mercedes.

Ask, too for comfort for Luz María as she morns the death of her son.

The ‘Fireproof’ movie is proving to have a big impact in the lives of many here in Mexico. Please pray for the lasting influence of God through His effective church in the saving and restoration of many difficult and broken marriages here. Pray for the ‘Fireproof’ bible studies that are being run in follow-up to the showing of the movie in various churches and also to the recent marriage encounter weekend.

Pray for those attending Missions in the Midwest this weekend. Pray especially for those funding.

Campanario

We thank God for the liberty we have to share the Gospel. Pray for the Children of Peace that they will embrace the vision for the churches and fulfill their role in building the church.

Pray that the Lord will bring more people for the churches in Peñitas, Aguiluchos and Bonfil. Ask for spiritual growth in the San Miguel church. Ask that those who have heard the Gospel will respond.

Pray for the sports activity planed for Tepojaco. Pray for the evangelistic campaign in Zapata.

Ask for wisdom and growth for the lay leaders who are being prepared. Ask for direction and a passion for sharing Christ.

There are several new believers who are taking the basic truths class. Pray that they will be prepared to take the step of baptism when they finish the class. Pray especially that Nicolasa will decide to be baptized.

Ask for health for Evangelina, Alicia and Ana Gabriela and for comfort for the three families whose family members have recently gone to be with Jesus. Pray for Ramona who’s husband recently died that she will find peace in the salvation found only in Jesus.

Pray for deliverence from alcholism for Pedro, a new believer.

Ask the Lord for the provision of funds for Araceli’s visit to Guatemala in August. We praise the Lord for his provision and care for her family in Tabasco while she works Campanario.

Ask for provision for a job for Susana.

La Raza

Praise God for the progress made with the most recent group of street kids attending the center in La Raza. One group asked for help to paint over a mural of ‘Saint Death’ that they had painted some time ago where they live. Some kids seem ready to leave the streets. Pray that they will have the strength to make the break and for the follow-up afterward. Continue to pray more importantly for their salvation. Of the most recent group 5 have already trusted Christ.

The La Raza team also ask prayer for a breakthrough with the neighbors around the center. Although one neighbor was ‘almost persuaded’ during a recent conversation he has not yet committed his life to Christ. Pray that many will start to attend the Thursday evening service and find the answers to questions that perhaps they never knew they had.

Pray for the UNIFAM national assembly this coming August. Ask the Lord for his agenda to accomplished during this time. Pray for wisdom and direction.

Pray for our team members attending Cross Training in July. Families are coming from the UK, Mexico and the US. Pray that all obstacles will be removed so that those planning can attend. Pray especially for the Lakatos who seem to have more than their share of obstacles.

Pray for healing for Leslie’s mom’s eyes. Pray, too, for their complete funding.

Pray for those nearing the end of their funding. Praise the Lord for all that he has provided for Margaret and Robin. Pray for the remaining funds needed in the six weeks remaining on their stay in the US. We praise the Lord for his protection on the road.

Continue to pray for Erick that he will be released from jail soon.

Praise God for the faithfulness of God in the lives of 5 students to graduate on the 28th of this month from SEMBIMEX. Each student is actively involved in ministry in their local church and beyond. Pray that they will continue to be highly effective in the lives of those they minister to.

Praise God also for continuing testimonies of the amazing work done by the Holy Spirit from couples who attended the marriage encounter weekend.

Cofradia/Izcalli

Ask the Great Physician for healing for ECC team member Salvador (Chava). He is having kidney problems. Ask for wisdom for the doctors and for the right treatment. Pray, too, for the continued evangelism taking place in López Mateos and Cofradía 3.

We praise the Lord for the success Jorge, Laura’s husband is having on the job. Pray for her father, Carlos, as he is facing a legal problem.

There are several couples having marital problems. One of the wives is a leader in the house church and their husband is opposing her service to the Lord. Pray for Lariza and Carlos and others who are in similar situations. Pray for Eulalia and for her husband.

Lariza has many contacts in her neighborhood. Pray for Lupita and her son Orlando. The son was injured in an accident and sinc ethat they have been reluctant to hear more about the Gospel. Pray that God will soften their hearts. Liliana is an abused woman who is attending the house church. Pray for her husband’s salvation.

Pray for Isabel, a neighbor who is helping Lariza but is sometimes a stumbling block to the growth of the church. Pray for wisdom and grace.

Pray for little Omar, 4 yrs old, for healing of his burns. His mother, Andrea, goes to a house church.

María Elena asks for help with her economic situation and for wisdom as she raises her son, Alfredo. Carmen also needs wisdom to administer her money well and get her debts paid.

Pray for Sabina as she prepares to be baptized. Tere is also planning on being baptized and asks for courage as she invites people to her home. Daniel y Tania are expecting their first baby and also preparing for baptizm. Pray for a job for Daniel and for a better relationship between him and his step-father.

Praise the Lord for a job for Cali.

Praise the Lord for what he is doing in Araceli and Carlos’s marriage. They are looking to finalize the adoption of a little girl this month. Pray for the paperwork and the adjustments involved. This little girl has been part of their lives for some time now.

Pray for salvation for the following people we have contacted. Norma and Angel, Jorge and his wife, Eulalia, Angela, Efren, Axel, Luis, Rosalva, Rebeca, Irene and Sonia

Pray for Sadoc, one of our lay leaders. Pray for growth and for wisdom as he shares with his group and courage as he shares his faith with his friends and neighbors.

Pray for new believers, Minerva, Sabina and Tere. Minerva is taking the baptism class. Ask for growth as they begin their walk with the Lord.

Coacalco

Several members of the team are asking us to stand in the gap for their parents. Socorro’s mom had complications on her last eye surgery. Pray for healing and for the money to buy the medicines needed. Pastor Alfredo’s mother is suffering with breast cancer. Ask for healing and peace.

Pray for Alan and Rebeca as they continue to adjust to married life. Ask for wisdom and grace as they make decisions for their future and for health and strength as they work for the Lord.

Pray for the three AA groups where Alan preaches every week. Ask the Lord fo help change lives. Pray, too, for the outreach with the families. Pray for leaders to emerge in these groups so the team can move on to minister to others.
