Santa Elena

We praise the Lord for the faithfulness of the people in Santa Elena and pray for a team to work in that area. The leadership there is only able to do visitation on Sundays. Ask for continued blessing and wisdom for Quetzal and Jesica, Hector and Lulu as they teach the brethren.

Pray for Maru’s father who has lost his eyesight due to complications from diabetes. Pray that God will use this as a means to bring him to a saving knowledge of grace.Dios. Pray, too, for Maru who was recently diagnosed with diabetes.

Pray for Sandy as someone forged her signature and ran up a debt. They are now trying to collect that debt that she did not know existed. Ask for wisdom.

Pray for Jazmin y Noepara that God would continue to provide their needs economically and theat they would continue to attend the house church on Sundays

Ask that the Lord to continue blessing Bernardo and Guille’s “carnitas” business and that they will continue to attend the Sunday meetings.

We thank the Lord for Sandra, Maru and Jamie, and Leonor who have opened their homes. Ask the Lord to continue to bless then and to give them a desire to know Him more.

Ask the Lord to provide a storage place and for the necessary funds to pay for it.

The leadership is preparing for the month of December. Ask the Lord to show them the place and to provide the means to present an evangelistic event.

Naucalpan

Continue to uphold Miguel, Guille, Isabel and Eliseo as they morn. Doctors now say that Isabel could deliver near the end of October. Ask the Lord to prepare their hearts to welcome this new life.

Pray for Sandra, wife of Zoel as she is dealing with some health issues. Pray for theier children Zoel Levi and and Nohemi. Asjk the Lord to continue to give Zoel good health and wisdom in his ministry.

Pray for Diana’s mom as she recuperates from surgery. She is scheduled for another surgery on her stomach in October. Pray too for Diana’s siblings, especially Jesus Miguel, that they might allow the Lord to reign in their lives and serve Him.

Continue to pray for Maria de Jesus. Though she has had appointments at the hospital, they have not had the resources to transport her as she is bed ridden and can’t take the bus. Pray for her family.

Pray for Paty and Marisol as they struggle with thyroid issues.

Pray for wisdom as the team reaches out to those in each house church. Pray for the leaders of these house churches that they will step up and fulfill their responsibilities.

Ask the Lord to strengthen Monica and Manuel’s marriage as they continue the training and serve in their home.

October 1st the team will begin anew the activities in the house church in Olimpica. Ask the Lord to bring people and that the Hija de Paz will put her trust in the Lord for the growth of the church. Pray for Israel, her husband, who has heard the Gospel but has been reluctant lately.

Cofradia/Izcalli

Pray for Vicky and Araceli as they make plans to unite their two house churches. Pray that the Lord will bless their combined efforts and that many more people will come to Him.

Pray for many ooen doors as Salvador shares the gospel Pray for the plans being put into place for evangelism during October, November and December.

Urgent Request

Dear praying friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I report to you that baby Jocsan is resting in the arms of Jesus. Please be in prayer for his parents, Isabel and Elisao, as they mourn this loss. Pray especially for Isabel as she is expecting their second child.

Prayer Requests

Pray for Helena as she is back in the UK and has started back at the university. Ask the Lord to keep His hand on her and to open the doors for her to return to Mexico if it is His will.

Pray for David as he finishes up his doctoral thesis. He had a “Eureka” moment that had given him the push he needed only to be hit by the flu. Ask for healing and for clarity as he meets his deadlines for this. Pray for health for Lizzie and Madison and for rest for Jen who has not been sleeping well.

Praise the Lord that Robin and Margaret have moved into their new home. Ask the Lord for strength as they unpack and get settled. Robin is taking a class at the seminary and is busy preparing her material to begin teaching in November. Margaret will start English classes this week.

Pray for Leroy and Kay who are in northern Mexico this week.

Continue to pray for those affected by the recent flooding. There is still evidence in the streets of the destruction to people’s homes and livelihood. Ask that we, as a church body, will be able to bring the Good News to these hurting people

Continue to pray for Steve and Helen in language acquisition in Costa Rica. Pray for Nisha as her parents are studying.

Campanario

Pray for the ECC team who are planting house churches in Campanario. Pray for their transportation as they reach out to this neighborhood.

Praise the Lord for the five people who accepted the Lord on September 4th in the Bonfil neighborhood. Pray for their follow-up and growth. Pray that another contact, Josefina, would have a personal encounter with God.

Pray for the house church in Zapato that the people would sense the need to be committed to the church.

Ask the Lord to make His way clear for Mary’s family.

Pray for the Lord’s healing touch on Ma. Arcaida as she suffers from epilepsy.

Pray for comfort for the Osorio family as they grieve the loss of their father.

Pray for Miguelina who is facing economic challengeds in these days. Ask the Lord for the funds needed to oay her debt.

Urgent Request

Pray for Jocsan, grandson of Miguel and Guille (La Loma) who has been admitted to the hospital. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and peace for his parents Isabel and Elisao. Ask the Great Physician to heal this baby. He is 16 months old.

Prayer Requests

This week is Independence week in Mexico with Tuesday night being the big celebration. The churches are having evangelistic events to celebrate and encourage believers. Pray that many will come and enjoy the typical foods and receive spiritual food as well.

Pray for those funding in the US and the UK. Pray for Leslie and Brenda and Nick and Lisa as they are planning to leave for language school in January. Pray for David and Jen as they move forward in their funding and David finishes his doctoral disertation. Troy and Jenny as they hit the fund raising trail in earnest.

Naucalpan

The Naucalpan team asks that we pray that the Lord would give them strength to do the work God has called them too and that God would work in them and through them to do His will in the area where they are serving.

Pray for each house church and family group that the Lord will cause each person to grow spiritually and the each group will grow numerically. Pray for the activities and mini-campaigns being held as evangelistic outreach.

Zoel asks for prayer for his family and especially for his wife Sandra as she is expecting. Pray for protection and health for their children Zoel and Ester and that God would meet all their needs.

Pray for Diana’s mother as she recuperates from knee surgery. Ask the Lord to strengthen her both physically and spiritually. Pray especially for her physical therapy which is very painful.

Pray too for her sister Emma who is struggling with kidney and liver issues. Emma would like to open her home to a house church but her physical weakness makes it difficult. Pray for her other siblings, Carmen, Pepe, Jacqueline and Jesus that God would work in their lives and they would call upon Him.

Pray for the recuperation of Maria de Jesus. They are going to operate on her brain and she is feeling anxious about this. Pray that the Lord will give her peace that passes understanding and that the surgery will be a success. Pray too for her parents as they have not been feeling well.

Pray for Maria’s sister Monica who is willing to open her home to some activities but her husband is one who worships the dead. Pray for wisdom and for a continued desire to learn more about Jesus.

Pray for the craft classes that will be held in Patricia and Teodora’s homes. Pray for those attending those classes that they would be a means of reaching their neighbors for Christ.

Pray for Patricia and Marisol who are both struggling with hyper thyroids. Ask the Lord to give them strength and for His healing hand to be upon them.

Pray for Brandon who has been missing for almost a month. He is seven years old and his parents are desperate to find him.

Pray for Monica and Manuel as God continues to restore their marriage and they continue training together. Pray too as they want to reach out and share God’s love with others and make some improvements to their house.

Pray for Regina whose husband, though claiming to be a Christian, practices witch craft. Pray for God to touch his heart and for there marriage to be restored.

Pray for another Brandon that God would touch his body. He doesn’t seem to be able to grow and his bones break easily.

Cofradia/Izcalli

We praise the Lord for the good reaction to Salvador’s presentation of the gel preparation to the ECC teams. Pray that this will be used and that many will come to know the Lord through this.

Salvador’s parents were among the many affected by the recent flooding in Mexico City. Pray for all as they try to put their lives back together and for peace.

Thank you for your prayers for Lariza. Continue to pray for wisdom as she leads the house church and for peace. Pray that her husband, Carlos will come to know Jesus. In spite of her husband’s persecution, Lariza has remained faithful to the Lord.

Ask the Lord for wisdom for Araceli as she prepares to study in SEMBIMEX. Praise the Lord for her husband’s new job.

Pray for Vicky as she administers the family finances. Pray that her husband, José will open his heart to Jesus.

Pray that Lucila will remain firm in her decision to be baptized.
