Prayer Requests

Monday, September 7th, 2009

Because you prayed, Imra’s (Escuadron 201) mom is doing much better. Continue to be in prayer for the family and for this dear saint as she begins rehab this week.

September is independence month for Mexico and the streets and houses are festooned with green, white and red. Pray for the churches as they prepare for the celebrations. Each year this is a big evangelistic outreach. September 15th is the actual day but celebrations begin on the 12th.

Pray for the MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) groups starting up in Campanario and La Loma.

As of this writing Robin and Margaret have still not found a house. Pray that today will be the day.

Praise the Lord for those who were baptized last week. We praise God for His touch on Ines’ son. Continue to pray for complete healing.

Pray for the Lord to work in the lives of Samuel, Chuy, Norma, Silvia and Salvador’s brother and wife. Pray they all soon have a personal relationship with Jesus.

Pray for Marlene and Ramón and Saúl and Hortencia as they continue to study God’s word.

Pray for the Lord’s healing touch on Rebeca and her preganancy, for Paty’s operation, and for Margarita’s diabetes.

Ask the Lord for work for Oscar.

Pray for the people Salvador is working with. Lariza is asking for God’s peace. She has many problems and is learning to turn them over to Him.

Pray for Carlos that he would have a heart that yearns for God and would be completely sold out to Him.

Lucila is taking baptismal classes. Pray that she will be a faithful student. Pray too for her husband Esteban that he will permit a Bible study in their home.

Salvador is presenting the antibacterial gel project to all the ECC workers on Tuesday, September 8th. Pray for wisdom as he does this and as he evangelizes in Cofradia. Ask the Lord to open door to home for Bible studies.

Dear praying friends,

We just received word that Cesar’s mother-in-law was released from the hospital yesterday but subsequently has suffered from four mini-strokes. Please be in prayer for her daughter, Irma, and the rest of the family and for this dear woman who is suffering. Cesar and Irma work in the Escuadron 201 church and are also working to plant churches in Valle de Chalco and Paraiso.
