Prayer Requests

We praise the Lord for the opportunities we have this week to share the Gospel. Ask the Lord to lead us to open hearts during this time. The eyes of the Mexicans are turned to a crucified Christ in these days. Pray we will be able to help them see the risen Savior.

Praise the Lord for the good time of reunion and ministry for Suzannah. Pray as she returns to the US today to continue working and funding.

Because you prayed, Noe found a job last week!!

Pray for God’s choice for a pastor for the Santa Monica church.

We have a prospective buyer for Robin’s vehicle. Pray the financing goes through and that this car can be sold quickly!!!!!!!

Ask the Lord for wisdom for Colleen as she is our team leader and has many heavy responsibilties. Pray, too, for courage in her leadership.

Continue to remember the two couples from the UK in Costa Rica. Pray especially for health for Leslie and Brenda.

Dave, candidate to teach in the seminary, has been traveling this week to visit his mother in the hospital. Pray for peace, rest and for the Lord’s touch.

We praise the Lord that Araceli has found a place to set up the office in Villahermosa and is already sharing Christ with the people there. Pray for Consuelo, Mary Carmen and Diana who have accepted the Lord as Savior

Please pray for wisdom for Araceli as she directs the work there and for protection as she works on her own until July.

We are planning an evangelistic campaign in Villahermosa May 1 and 2. Pray for much fruit from these efforts and for all the details involved in this campaign.

We praise the Lord for openon up this new area in the north western most part of the metropolitan area. Pray for Socorro and Salvador as they begin this important work in such a needy area. Pray for open doors for Bible study and house churches

Pray for healing for Maru’s liver and kidneys.

Pray for Jaime as he shares the Gospel with friends and family.

Ask the Lord for wisdom for Quetzal and Hector as they share in their house churches. Ask the Lord to make their faith so real that it pours out into every part of their lives.

Pray that Andres will find friends who are a better influence on him and that he will not fight with his mother.

There are so many marriages that are on the rocks. Pray for Raquel who is angry with her husband and with God. Gerardo is estranged from his wife. Pray also for Leonor whose grown daughter is causing problems with her marriage.

Pray for the rapid sale of the car Robin used on Home assignment. The insurance is about to run out and she does not want to pay any more for a car that is just sitting there.

We praise the Lord for the excellent team from Asbury College who returned to the US yesterday. They did much work in Acapulco and spent two days getting to know the work in Mexico City. Pray for Suzannah who is staying in the city this week to reconnect with old friends and gather material for Outreach articles.

We praise the Lord for Kay’s safe return to Mexico and ask for pray as she and Leroy are in Guadalajara this week teaching classes.

Pray for the preparations for Holy Week activities. Hearts are sensitive during this time, pray we take advantage of this and use it to help build God’s Kingdom and draw people to Him.

Pray for the neuroapathy in Margaret’s feet which can make sleep an elusive thing.

Pray for balance in our lives between ministry, time with the Lord and rest.

Escuadron 201

Pray for the house churches held each Friday and for Irma and Jonathan as they work to train leaders. There is a new house church ready to begin this Friday.

Continue to pray for the transition of Cesar and Irma to the Tultitlan church.

Ask the Great Physician to lay his healing hand on Rosario, hostess of one of the house churches.

Pray for the evangelism campaign being held this weekend. Ask the Lord for much fruit.

Praise the Lord for the new people who are coming.

Ask the Lord for more workers in the Harvest. There are many open hearts but few to walk along side them.

Many of our workers have unsaved family. Pray for salvation for Andres, Sebastiana, Rick and David.

Pray for comfort for Kay as she mourns the death of her brother and for Leroy as he awaits her return to Mexico. Continue to pray for them as they begin to hand over ministries in preparation for their departure.

Pray for God’s direction in choosing a pastor for the Santa Monica church.

Ask the Lord for wisdom as we make plans to implement the new ECC budget for this fiscal year.

Praise the Lord for the good time with the team from John Wesly College who returned to North Carolina on Sunday. Pray for the Asbury team who arrived in Acapulco on Saturday and will be in the city on Thurdsay. Pray they will accomplish much and that there will be open hearts for the work.

Pray for our families who are funding. Nick and Lisa are planning to be in Costa Rica for language school in August. David and Jen who are trying to fund and sell their house. Troy and Jenny who are traveling with four small children.

Pray for Robin as she finished up work on a class for her Master’s. This is the last week and there is a major assignment due on Saturday. Pray for the right words as she finishes up this paper.

This is the last week of english classes until after Easter. Pray for Margaret as she shares the plan of salvation with each class this week.

Santa Elena

Monday, March 15th, 2010

Pray for Salvador as he moves from Cofridia to the Tultitlan area and gives coverage to the house churches in Santa Elena. Pray for this transition. There are many woemn alone, single mothers and much violence in the homes in Santa Elena. Pray for the opportunities to share the Gospel and for open hearts.

We praise the Lord that Carla accepted the Lord on the phone last week! Ask the Lord to continue to give her hunger for His Word and for the salvation of her daughters and healing for Regina.

Sandra asks for the Lord’s help in resolving her relationship with her ex-husband and for reconsiliation.

Pray for peace for Rachel as she has problems with her husband. She is feeling hopeless and overwhelmed.

Pray for Gerardo who has walked away from the Lord and his family.

Continue to pray for the Lord’s blessing on Alejandro and his business.

Naucalpan

Pray for Zoel, Sandra and their three children. Ask the Lord for health as all are suffering from colds. Pray for these months of transition and prayer as final plans are being made as to wheather they will join the work in Tabasco.

Pray for Diana’s family that the Lord will touch their hearts.

Monica, one of our “hija’s de paz” (children of peace) has recently undergone surgery for cervical cancer. She is 28, married with two young children. Pray for healing and strength for Monica, Manuel, Yahi and Alondra.

Ask the Lord to touch Margarita’s heart and bring her to salvation. Pray too for her daughter, Elizabeth, 15, who recently tried to take her own life. Son Rafael, 20, is an alcoholic and has been very agressive with his family. Daughter Mariana is in leadership training and is burdened for her family.

Pray for those struggling financially in this poor neighborhood

Ask the Lord for a new touch on Samuel and Maurucio.

Rocio is another person in leadership training and asks for prayer for wisdom and for healing for her daughter, Nahomi, who has asthma.

Pray for Delia, Paula’s grandma who has diabetes and is in need of a Savior. Pray, too, for her brother-in-law, Rubisel, who has been asalted.

We just received word that Kay’s brother passed away in the night. Please pray for comfort for his children and the rest of the family. Kay is flying out today to be with the family. Pray for Leroy staying behind with the group of students from John Wesley College.
