We just got a message from Dave and Jen and someone made an offer on their house. They have made a counter offer and the potential buyers want to have a deal made by 8 PM Eastern Daylight Time. Pray with them for a miracle!!!!
We praise the Lord for new students starting classes in the seminary this week. Pray for them and for all the returning students as they apply themselves to their studies.
We praise the Lord for Sarah and Sadie and for the encouragement they are to our team. Pray for Sarah as she teaches English in Santa Monica and for Sadie as she has finished language school and will begin her ministry assignment next week.
Ask the Lord for encouragement and healing for Raul. On his return from Haiti his retina detached and he has had two surgeries to correct that.
Pray for wisdom for the ECC committee as we have been facing many difficult decisions.
Pray for our families funding in the US. Ask the Lord to provide the necessary funds for them to join us quickly. Pray for Nick and Lisa, Dave and Jen, and Troy and Jenny.
There will be summit meetings with a contingent from US headquarters and the committees of UNIFAM and ECC Mexico in mid May. Pray for wisdom, unity, direction and resolution of conflicts during this time. Pray too for all the logistical details to be worked out.
Ask the Lord for wisdom for Colleen as the team leader for our small contingency of missionaries.
Ask the Lord to encouragement Miguel, UNIFAM national president, as he confronts challenges on a daily basis. Pray also for his wife, Guille, that God will comfort her heart and lift her spirits.
We praise the Lord for His mercy and faithfulness as the work begins in Tabasco. We thank Him for protection and provision for Araceli, for the house churches that will be opening this week and for His physical touch on Araceli’s mom. Continue to pray for her mom as she needs gall bladder surgery. Pray for Araceli’s sister’s marriage. Ask the Lord to work in the hearts of Janeth and Sandro. Pray for encouragement for Araceli as she encourages her family and pray for more workers in the harvest soon!
Pray for the evangelistic campaign this weekend in Tabasco. There will be several going from Mexico City to help. Pray for journeying mercies, wisdom and for much fruit for the harvest.
Pray that the families who have been contacted will have a desire to serve the Lord and grow in Him.
We praise the Lord for the lay people who are working tirelessly to help plant churches. Ask the Lord to bless them for their efforts and supply all of their needs.
Praise the Lord for open doors in Nicolas Romero, Tepojaco and San Miguel. Pray that all the details can be worked out to be able to have house churches in these locations.
Pray for the house church in Zapata and for José Luis, Edith and Rosa that God will strengthen them as they serve Him.
Pray that Ana will be able to open a church in her home and that her family will be won to the Lord.
Pray for the house churches in Pastores and Prado Iztacala that they will grow and multiply.
Ask the Lord for salvation for Emma’s husband. Emma is the hostess for one of our house churches. Ask to for growth for Elsa and Beto as they lead a house church.

Pray for peace in Abigail’s heart, and for salvation for Estela and Juan.
Pray for healing for Emilia, Manuel, Melquiades and Josefina.
We praise God for the work He is doing in this new area. Pray for ECC workers Socorro and Salvador as they continue to spread God’s word in this area. We praise the Lord for the two young men, Jonathan and Michel who accepted the Lord last week. Praise for a house to rent as a base of operation. Pray for much fruit for their labor.
Pray that the Lord will heal the headaches that Socorro has been having.
Salvador asks for prayer for new ideas and methods to share the Gospel.
Pray for the existing house churches that they will be healthy churches with a desire to learn and grow. Pray for Quetzal and Hector as they lead these churches.
Pray that all will go well for Isabel’s pregnancy and for healing for Angel.
Pray for salvation for Fernando, Jonathan, David, and Mar de Japon.
Ask the Lord to provide the economic resources needed by Ofelia and Miguel.
Pray for Aranza who is struggling with her studies. Ask the Lord to help her focus so she can finish high school well. Ask to for boldness as she witnesses to her classmates.
Pray for the students in SEMBIMEX who are studying for finals this week. Pray, too, as they register for the next block of classes.
The churches are having celebrations this month for Children’s Day. Pray that the contacts made during this time will be lasting and bring much fruit.
English classes resume this week in Campanario and started in Santa Monica last week. Pray that many non-believers will come so we can share the Gospel with them in this non-threatening way.
Pray for the summit meetings scheduled for mid May in Mexico. Pray for unity and resolution of conflicts in UNIFAM before these meetings take place.
Pray for Socorro and Salvador as they reach out in Joyas de Cuatitlan. Ask the Lord for open doors and new house churches in this area where there are no churches. Pray for the many who received the Gospel of John during the outreach on Good Friday. Ask the Lord to help them to read it and call the team with their questions.
Pray for Hector and Quetzal as they lead the two existing house churches. Pray for direction as Salvador works with them on outreach and discipleship.
Ask the Lord to supply Sandra’s economic needs and to give her wisdom and a desire to share the Gospel with others.
Pray for peace in Raquel’s marriage.
Ask the Lord for health for Maru. She has problems with her kidneys and liver.
We mourn with Dave S and his family over the death of his mother this weekend. We praise the Lord that his mother is home with Jesus but ask the Lord for His comfort for those who are left behind.
Praise the Lord for His presence during the retreat. Pray for pastors, workers and missionaries as they return to work and for the students as they return to classes.
Praise the Lord for the sale of Robin’s car.
Pray for salvation of our workers family members. Pray for Andres, Tom, and many others.
Pray for Robin, Benito and Margaret as they return to Mexico on Tuesday and hit the ground running on Wednesday.
Continue to pray for the Lord’s grace for Kay and Leroy as they prepare for their departure in August.
Pray for Leslie and Brenda and Steve and Helen as they continue to study Spanish in Costa Rica.
We praise the Lord for many answered prayers. Praise the Lord for jobs for Noe and Jesus. We also praise God for Alan who gave his life to Christ.
Pray for the house church in Tepojaco. Ask the Lord for just the right place to meet and for growth.
Pray for the leaders of our house churches that the Lord would give them the strength needed and use them to help build His church.
Pray for healing for Calixto’s wife as she’s facing tests for cancer and for physical and spiritual healing for Eduardo. Pray for health for Israel.
Ask the Lord for His love to fill the many marriages that are struggling. Pray for Rene and his wife, Juan and his wife and for Emma and her husband.
Keep praying for the house churches at Elsa and Beto’s and in Loma Nevada. Ask the Lord for numerical and spiritual growth.
