Pray for the Marriage Encounter taking place this weekend, June 4-6. Pray for the many details still to be accomplished and for the couples who will be attending that they will be open to the Lord’s working in their marriages.
Pray for Janelle, a student from Asbury, who is arriving today for a two month stay. Pray for a smooth transition to Mexican life and for a fruitful ministry while she is here.
Continue to pray for direction for the UNIFAM board. Much progress was made at the summit meetings but there is still much work to do. Pray for wisdom.
The Coacalco church has a payment due on their property the end of July. Ask the Lord to provide the funds for that payment will be in on time.
We praise the Lord for those who have sensed God’s call to come and serve with us. Pray for Nick and Lisa, Dave and Jen and Troy and Jenny as they are funding in the US.
Continue to pray for Leroy and Kay as they make the transition to move to the US. Pray for their support account which is in the red.
It is with a heavy yet joyful heart that we write that Ernesto Rivera has gone to be with Jesus. He fought the fight, finished the course and is resting in the arms of His Lord. He preached until two weeks before his homegoing and will be deeply missed by his family and his flock. Pray especially for his wife of 40 years, Margarita and for his daughters and their spouses, Velina and Israel, Lucia, Aida and Rebeca and Alan. Pray to for the adopted daughters, Margaret and Robin as they morn with the family. Grandchildren Ian (3) and Pam (2) are very close to their grandpa and it will be hard for them to understand this loss. Grandson Ben is just a few months old. Thank you for standing with the family in this time.
Sorry today’s entry is late. The rains have finally started in Mexico and we have had power surges and outages all day making it difficult to be on the computer. We are still in need of your prayers for the work in Mexico.
Pray for the ECC committee meeting this Wednesday and the UNIFAM committee meeting this coming Thursday as they continue the work started at the summit meetings.
Continue to pray for Darina and for the doctors as they treat this young girl. Pray for peace for Brenda and Leslie.
We just received word that Ernesto, adopted dad of Margaret and Robin, is not doing well. His surgery was postponed in February and he had been doing very well. Pray especially for his wife, Margarita, who is taking the news that the cancer has spread with great difficulty.
Praise the Lord for the steps being taken toward unity with the team at La Raza. Pray for continued progress and for healing of old hurts.
Praise the Lord that Alex and Pati’s son, Hansel, was in church on Sunday. Pray that this will be the beginning of him getting his life together.
Pray for Pati as she works with a group of women who are seeking help at the Drop-in-Center. Ask the Lord for wisdom and grace as she reaches out to these hurting women.
Pray for Socorro who is having severe headaches. Ask the Lord to touch her physically and gives her the energy needed to continue working in the harvest fields. Pray for Socorro and Salvador as they minister in Joyas de Cuatitlan. Ask the Lord to open doors. They are planning on starting a new house church June 6th.
Ask the Great Physical for healing for Angel, Maria, Maria del Socorro, Aranza, and Adriana. Adriana is scheduled for heart surgery soon. Pray especially for peace for her family.
Pray for the finances needed by Miguel to provide for his family and care for Angel’s mounting medical expenses
Pray for Ofelia as she hosts a house church, Ask the Lord for growth and wisdom as she shares with her neighbors.
Pray for Cristian, Aranza and Diana who are struggling in school.
Because you prayed, the summit meetings held last week were a success. There was a real sense of unity and direction. Much progress was made toward the future of the work here in Mexico.
Pray for Steve, in Costa Rica, as he is having his wisdom teeth extracted on Friday. Ask the Lord for quick healing and no complications.
Pray for Darina, Leslie and Brenda’s four year old daughter who has been having problems with her bowels. They have an appointment today with a pediatric specialist. Pray for wisdom for the doctor, a quick and complete healing for Darina, and peace for mom and dad. We are thankful for the excellent medical care in Costa Rica.

Praise the Lord for the 22 students in Robin’s seminary class on “teaching and leading children” in Coacalco. Pray that what is being taught will be applied in their Sunday school classes.
Pray for pastors for the Tultitlan and Santa Monica churches and for more workers on our ECC teams.
We praise the Lord for the way He is moving and providing for the new work in Tabasco. We praise Him for those who accepted the Lord during the recent campaign and for the two house churches that started up this last weekend.
Praise the Lord that Araceli’s mom is feeling better. Pray as she needs surgery on her gall bladder and is not very healthy. Ask the Lord for peace and wisdom for Araceli as she ministers to her mom and the rest of her family. Pray for her sister Janeth’s marriage. Ask the Lord to intervene and bring peace to Janeth and Sandro.
Pray for the families who have been contacted and have expressed a desire to follow Christ. Pray they will be faithful servants of the King.
Ask the Lord for spiritual and physical strength and encouragement as Araceli works alone in Tabasco and waits for the Lord to send more workers into the harvest. Pray for Zoel and Sandra as they begin to make plans to move to Tabasco with their family in July.
Praise the Lord for those who recently accepted the Lord in Nicolas Romero. Pray for Omar, Elvia, Samira and Daniel.
Pray for growth and encouragement for the hostesses and those who attend the house churches in Tepojaco, Nicolas Romero and la Zapata.
Pray for the house church VBS training and for the plans being made for the summer.

Ask the Lord for continued blessing on Luis and Irene business.They are very thankful for the way He has been providing.
Ask the Lord for wisdom for Sara Isabel as she interacts with her friends at school.
Victoria is struggling with bitterness towards her husband. Ask that she would continue to seek the Lord and for healing of her heart and of her marriage.
Please bathe the summit meetings with the UNIFAM committee and OMS leadership in prayer. The meetings start tomorrow and will go through Friday supper. Ask the Lord for oneness of vision, direction and for wisdom. Pray for Miguel, Alfredo, Alexis, Juan Jesus, Benito, Jonathan, Jeff, Dean, David, Rich, and Colleen.
Pray for our families in Costa Rica studying Spanish. Pray for good health and for retention of what they are learning as they have just begun their last trimester. Praise the Lord for the opportunities they have to minister and use what they are learning. Liam and Nisha have a new teacher in their preschool this trimester. Pray for their adjustment.
Praise the Lord for the new people in the English classes. Pray especially for Sarah as she shares the Gospel with them Pray too for the students in Margaret’s classes who don’t know Jesus.
We praise the Lord for the time Joe was able to spend with us. Pray for him as he returns to Australia and seeks the Lord’s direction for his future.
Pray for Sadie who has begun working with Diana on the Naucalpan team.

Pray for continued healing for Raul, one of our seminary students who is recovering from his second surgery to repair a detached retina.
Please pray for Nick and Lisa and especially Hannah and Samuel, as they are preparing to leave for language school in the fall. The reality of leaving family and friends is setting in. They also need to find a good home for our dog, Calvin who has been a part of our family for almost 8 years.
