Many of our workers have unsaved family. Pray for salvation for Andres, Sebastiana, Rick and David.
Pray for comfort for Kay as she mourns the death of her brother and for Leroy as he awaits her return to Mexico. Continue to pray for them as they begin to hand over ministries in preparation for their departure.
Pray for God’s direction in choosing a pastor for the Santa Monica church.
Ask the Lord for wisdom as we make plans to implement the new ECC budget for this fiscal year.
Praise the Lord for the good time with the team from John Wesly College who returned to North Carolina on Sunday. Pray for the Asbury team who arrived in Acapulco on Saturday and will be in the city on Thurdsay. Pray they will accomplish much and that there will be open hearts for the work.
Pray for our families who are funding. Nick and Lisa are planning to be in Costa Rica for language school in August. David and Jen who are trying to fund and sell their house. Troy and Jenny who are traveling with four small children.
Pray for Robin as she finished up work on a class for her Master’s. This is the last week and there is a major assignment due on Saturday. Pray for the right words as she finishes up this paper.
This is the last week of english classes until after Easter. Pray for Margaret as she shares the plan of salvation with each class this week.
We just received word that Kay’s brother passed away in the night. Please pray for comfort for his children and the rest of the family. Kay is flying out today to be with the family. Pray for Leroy staying behind with the group of students from John Wesley College.
Praise the Lord for the team from Oklahoma and Texas and the work they were able to accomplish at the Coacalco church. Pray for them as they settle back into life in the states and share what God is doing here in Mexico with friends and family.
Pray for the team from John Wesley College who will be arriving on Wednesday. Ask the Lord to break their hearts for a lost world.
Pray for Leslie and Brenda and family as they had to leave Costa Rica last week in order to have their visas renewed.
Nick and Lisa are working diligently for the funds needed to be able to leave for language school in August. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to provide the necessary funds to bring these workiers into His harvest here in Mexico.
Pray for a quick sale of Dave and Jen’s house and for their continued funding efforts. Pray too for healing for Jen’s shoulder hurt in a recent fender-bender. Uplift Dave’s mom in rehab in Delaware following a recent hospital stay.
Pray for Robin as she is in the home stretch for her master’s class.
Pray for Leroy and Kay as they begin turning over ministries in preparation for their late summer departure.
Praise the Lord for the good results from the evangelistic campaign at Campanario this weekend.
Pray for Steve as he leaves Costa Rica to return to the UK for his grandmother’s funeral. Pray for comfort for him and his family. Ask for protection on Helen and Nisha awaiting his return in Costa Rica.
Implore the Lord for healing for Brenda and Leslie. Pray for the right way to deal with them.
Praise the Lord for the safe arrival of the team from Oklahoma and Texas. Pray for them as they build the second story onto the Coacalco church
There is ECC training on Tuesday and some new assignments will be made for the coming year. Pray for wisdom and grace as plans are made for the coming fiscal year. Ask the Lord for his provision of funds needed to keep ministries going and start new ones.
Pray for the evangelistic campaign in Campanario this Saturday. Pray for much fruit.
Ask the Lord of the Harvest to provide the needed funds for Nick and Lisa so they can begin language school in the fall. They are desperately needed here in Mexico.
We praise the Lord for his sustaining grace on Ernesto. Continue to pray for strength so he can have the surgery in April. His grandson Alan Benjamin was born on Saturday weighing in at 6 lbs 8 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches. He is the son of former ECC workers Alan and Rebeka.
Pray for Leroy traveling to Argentina to minister. He is speaking at a camp meeting.
Pray for the Lord to open the doors for His word in Villahermosa, Tabasco. Pray for Aracely as she begins to wrap things up here in the city to begin her move to Tabasco.
Pray for the funds being allocated for the 2010 – 2011 fiscal year for evangelization. Ask the Lord to grant wisdom to those deciding and for them to find favor with the work in Mexico.
Pray for Ignacio who has lost his job because of problems with drugs and alcohol and ill health. He is the uncle of some of the members of the house church in Merced Gomezl. Ask the Lord for opportunities for the family to share the Gospel with him.
Pray for Aida’s health and for wisdom in their business. Pray too for opportunities for her sister, Susana, to share Christ with her.
Ernesto, pastor of the Conception church, did not have surgery last week. He decided to wait and see if he could get stronger and so postponed it for two months.
Raul, one of our seminary students, is raising funds to go to Haiti with a Mexican team. Pray for the funds to come in and for God’s direction for Raul’s life.
We praise the Lord that in January we had three young men come off the streets for rehabitation and there is another who is waiting in the wings. We give praise, too, for the new group of three women that are coming to the drop-in-center. Pray the team will have the wisdom as to how to help these women.
Continue to pray for Hansel. He is doing better but need to completely give his life to the Lord and leave alcohol behind.
Pray for true unity in the team and for the appointment of a leader. Pray, too, for wisdom as to when to start services on Sunday.
Pray for Leslie studying Spanish in Costa Rica together with Brenda, Darina and Liam. Leslie was recently diagnosed with a small hernia. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and for Leslie as to treatment.
Priscilla, one of the youth in the Marina National church, is struggling with unfair treatment from her teachers. Pray for strength and wisdom for her and her parents as they deal with this situation.
Ernesto, Margaret and Robin’s Mexican father and pastor of one of our church plants, is having surgery to remove a tumor from his pancreas on Tuesday. He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday afternoon and has peace. Pray for the surgeons and for continued peace for the family.
Pray for UNIFAM president, Miguel and for the UNIFAM committee meeting on Tuesday evening. Ask the Lord for wisdom and for resolution of conflicts.
Praise the Lord for the new students studying at SEMBIMEX. Ask the Lord to call pastors and workers into His harvest.
Pray for the sale of the Dave and Jen’s house in Kentucky. This would greatly help them as they prepare to come to work in Mexico.
Pray for Gaby, pastor’s wife from Coacalco, whose father passed away this week. Ask that the God of all comfort will be her strength in these days. We praise the Lord she was able to be with him.
We praise the Lord for the safe delivery of Zoel and Sandra’s baby boy on Friday. Details as to name and weight to follow. Zoel works on the Naucalpan team.
Pray for the ECC Training taking place Monday, February 1st.
Praise the Lord for the seeds planted in La Raza from their campaign on Saturday. Pray for the followup of the contacts made.
Pray for Jeff and Laura as they return to the US on Tuesday. Praise the Lord for the positive influence they had on missionaries, pastors and workers alike. They received word on Saturday that they have frozen pipes in Indiana. Pray they thaw quickly and do not burst.
We mourn with the Martinez family on the passing of their beloved mother and grandmother last week. Pray that they will find strength in God’s comfort.
