My sincere apologies for not posting anything last week. I was traveling and though I try to get something posted even on the road, the circumstances last week made it difficult. We are grateful for your prayers and trust that God will bless each one of you for you faithfulness.
We praise the Lord for the safe arrival of Brenda, Leslie, Steve, Helen and their children. Steve and Helen have found a house and should be settling in this week. Continue to pray for a house for Brenda and Leslie and for a continued smooth transition for all, especially Darina, Liam and Nisha.
We give praise, too, for Nick and Lisa who are settled in Costa Rica and starting Spanish classes this week. Pray for Hannah and Samuel as they start school today, Monday.
The Mexican Bi-centennial is coming up and many of our churches are planning evangelistic outreaches. Pray for the details in planning and that many would be involved in this outreach.
Pray for Chely in Tabasco as she is facing a difficult situation with her sister Janeth, Pray for wisdom and grace as she loves her sister with Christ’s love. Pray for spiritual healing of her sister’s marriage.
Seminary classes are off to an excellent start. Praise the Lord for several new students and for others who have returned to classes both in the Coacalco extension and the main campus. Pray for our students as they learn and grow in God’s Word.
Pray for quick healing for Margaret’s feet. She got caught in a gate and is at home with her feet up.
Pray for our youth, that God will protect them and keep them pure and holy. Pray for those working with the youth that they will have the right words to say to those who are struggling and hurting.
We praise the Lord for the safe arrival of Nick, Lisa, Hannah and Samuel in Costa Rica to begin their language studies. They will overlap most of this week with our other couples to help them get settled.
Pray for Brenda, Leslie, Darina and Liam, and Steve, Helen and Nisha as they finish their packing and say their goodbyes to Costa Rica. Pray for their transition to Mexico and for the many details involved in getting settled in a new country. Pray for the team in Mexico as they help with this transition.
Pray for Catarino as he is pastoring the Acapulco Center church. Pray for wisdom as he ministers and for those in the church to catch the vision for the need for all to be involved in reaching the lost.
Pray for the UNIFAM committee meeting this week. We praise God for the way he has worked and ask again for wisdom and grace for the situations facing us as a denomination.
Pray for the parents of our missionaries and pastors that the Lord will meet their needs even though many are far away.
Pray for salvation for Andres, Benito’s father. He was in church last Sunday. Pray the words spoken will reach into his heart.

We praise the Lord for the children who were reached at the VBS programs this last week in Campanario, Coacalco and other areas. Pray now for the follow-up and the the decisions made by children and parents alike will be lasting.
Pray for Alfredo, the new UNIFAM President as he assumes his responsibilities in this role. He and Miguel are in Greenwood for a church planting seminar for another week.
Registration begins this week for classes at SEMBIMEX. Pray for both new and returning students and for the teachers as they prepare for their classes.
Pray for Brenda, Leslie, Helen and Steve as they complete their time in Costa Rica. Pray for a smooth transition from language school to ministry in Mexico. Pray especially for Darina, Liam and Nisha.
Pray for David and Carol as they say goodbye to Venezuela and return to the US for their year of home assignment. We praise the Lord for all He is doing in Venezuela and pray He will sustain the ministry there.
Praise the Lord for His physical touch on Lisa and Hannah as they had strep throat last week. Pray for the training they are in this week and for their safe arrival in Costa Rica for language school.
Praise the Lord for his presence at the UNIFAM national assembly last week. Pray for our pastors and workers as they return to their churches with the charge to be consecrated and committed.
We praise the Lord that Kay and Leroy have arrived safely in New Jersey. Pray for their time with their children and grandchildren and their transition back to life in the US.
Pray for Leslie, Brenda, Steve and Helen as they finish their time in language school in Costa Rica and make their way to Mexico City to begin their ministries here. Pray for Darina, Liam and Nisha that they will transition well.
Nick, Lisa, Hannah and Samuel are at training in Greenwood for two weeks and then journey to Costa Rica to begin language school.
Pray for Benito as he continues to teach the summer intensive class til August 14. Pray for the students as they open their hearts and minds to what God has to teach them.
Pray for Miguel and Alfredo who are in Greenwood for a church planting seminar.
Campanario VBS begins on Wednesday. Pray for much fruit and that new names of children and parents will be written in the book of life as a result.
Praise the Lord for the way He worked in the lives of those who attended camp despite the rainy days. There were a good number of decisions and many in whom the walls of their hearts were broken down. Continue to pray for followup and growth.
Pray for Jenelle who has finished her time here in Mexico and has returned to the US. Pray for her transition back and for her last year at Asbury College. Pray for her as she seeks God’s plan for her after graduation. We praise the Lord for the way God used Jenelle working in La Raza and at camp.
The UNIFAM national church assembly begins on Wednesday of this week. Pray for God’s direction, for unity and for good fellowship.
Pray for our pastors and their families as some of them are going through trying times.
Camps start today! The children go today through Wednesday, the adolescents go Wednesday through Friday and the youth go Friday through Sunday. Pray for the campers and those who will be there all week as well as those who will be going with each group. Ask the Lord for salvation for those who don’t know Him and for renewal for those who do.
Pray for our couples in Costa Rica as they finish up their time there and prepare to come to Mexico.
Pray for Nick, Lisa, Hannah and Samuel as they say goodbyes to the US and make their way to Costa Rica for language study.
Pray for Leroy and Kay as they head north this week. Pray for traveling mercies and for easy in crossing the border with all their things.
Praise the Lord for his care and provision and for the five house churches we have here in Tabasco.
This week is VBS in Tabasco. Pray for the house church leaders as they open their homes to the children of the area. Pray that families will be reached during this outreach.
Ask the Lord to fill the hearts of the house church leaders with the passion for souls and the vision and commitment to be involved in the work and in sharing the Gospel.
This week most of the house churches are having Vacation Bible School. Please pray for strength for the workers and for much fruit from their labors. Pray especially for the final day when the children do a program for their parents and a gospel presentation is made.
Pray for Leroy and Kay as they finalize their packing and make final preparations to leave next week. Ask the Lord for sustaining grace as they leave behind almost 15 yrs of memories.
Continue to pray for the July class on Old Testament Poetry.
The UNIFAM National summer camps begin next week. Pray for final preparations and for the Lord to be preparing the hearts of those who will be attending.
The national assembly will be held the end of this month. Pray for the preparations and for unity as new issues facing the UNIFAM denomination will be discussed.
Continue to pray for Margarita, Mexican mom of Margarita and Robin, There is a mass in her stomach and the doctor has ordered chemotherapy. Pray for God’s touch. Praise the Lord that the prognosis on her granddaughter Pami was good. She has a bacteria in her stomach which has been causing most of her problems. The valve in her stomach should begin to function better as she grows.
We praise the Lord for His faithfulness. Last night the Academic Dean and Librarian were officially installed in their new positions at SEMBIMEX. Pray for Dean Benito and Librarian Arturo as they accept the challenges ahead of them.
Praise the Lord for a good visit for the team from Gordon Conwell who returned to the US on Monday. Pray that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts and show them the direction He has for each one.
Pray for continued healing for Margaret. The doctor was pleased with her progress so far and removed the stitches.
We received word today that Margarita, Mexican mom to Robin and Margaret was hospitalized and the doctor believes she has a tumor in her intestine. Please ask the Great Physician to lay His hand on her and to give the family peace. It has been just over a month since her husband went to be with Jesus. Pray to for her two year old granddaughter, Pamela, who is having tests run this week to see why the pyloric valve in her stomach is not working correctly.
Pray for health and strength for Leroy and Kay as they finish their packing and say their goodbyes after almost 15 years in Mexico City.
Pray for Vacation Bible Schools being held throughout the month of July and for the youth camp coming up at the end of the month. Ask the Lord for much fruit from these activities.
Pray for the special meetings with the ECC and UNIFAM committees and Rich from headquarters this Thursday.
Pray for the intensive July-term class that begins this coming Saturday. Pray for Benito as he prepares and teaches and for the students taking the class.
Pray for our families back home. Ask that the Lord would save those who are lost, rescue those who are struggling and provide for those who are hurting.
