The community of Santa Elena is located in the north-east sector of the greater Mexico City area known as Cuautitlan. There are 110 “condominium units” with 40-53 houses in each unit. Each unit is home to 250 people. More than 10,000 people call this area home. OMS through the ministry of ECC is working to establish house churches in this community. So far, in this area we have 6 house churches. The host families are called “hijos de paz” or children of peace.
Benito Bautista is the leader of this team and has been part of the OMS team for nearly 10 years. Benito graduated from SEMBIMEX, the OMS Mexico seminary and became a Christian through the testimonies of OMS missionaries.
